Instructions on how to brew and use Phin Ho Shan Tuyet Tea
Step 1. Wash the teapot thoroughly, rinse the entire teapot with boiling water. Clean teapots and cups create a delicious feeling and do not affect the flavor of the tea. The best water for brewing tea is rainwater, you can use well water. Limit the use of limestone mountain water
Step 2. Estimate the amount of tea to put in the teapot. This is quite important, if you put too much, it will be too strong and undrinkable, if too little, it will be diluted and the flavor will be poor. Experience is that for every 100g of Shan Tuyet Tea, you can estimate that you can brew 8-10 pots for 3-4 people. Each time you can brew 5-7 times of water
Step 3. Pour boiling water at 100 degrees that has cooled down to about (90 degrees for Green Tea; 80-85 degrees for Black Tea) into the teapot until it covers the tea and then pour it out immediately. This action is called rinsing the tea, making the tea leaves hot and expand. Continue using water at the same temperature as the first time you rinsed the tea, pour it into the teapot, cover the teapot to steep the tea. The steeping time is also quite important, affecting the intensity of the tea, it is best to steep from (1' - 1'30s for green tea; 45s - 1' for black tea).
Note:
- You can pour a little into the cup first, observe the color of the water to check the thickness, then draw your own experience.
- When pouring tea to enjoy, you must pour 2-3 times in each cup to ensure that all cups have the same intensity, avoid pouring enough for cup 1 before moving to cup 2, 3.
